Green Lantern Meets Blue Lantern

Oh, what a bad blogger I've been!
Tsk tsk to me.

Don't worry, lots of fun stuff in store in the next few weeks. I am hard at work on orders for Halloween and New York Comic Con (Alpha Flight)- AND there will be a awesome new webstore opening- so stay tuned!

Onto this week's entry:

Custom Orange Lantern

I've done some Orange Lantern-inspired designs in the past, but this one is very fun, because it includes the awesome Kyle Rayner-esque sleeve details.
And you may be asking who is the awesome guy who conceived such an great design, and it modeling it so nicely?
None other than the man behind Comicbooked!
Seriously, check it out.

Batgirl Stephanie Brown Hoodie

Just a quickie this week.
Every once in a blue moon I get to make something for myself to keep. I've had so much fun working on  this Batgirl costume, I thought it would make a great hoodie. It was also a fun way to experiment with the glow in the dark fabric.

It's simple, purple ribbed side panels and glow in the dark symbol and bat ears.
Those it's been largely too hot to wear it!
To all those who will be attending SDCC next week have a blast and I wanna see pictures!

Green Lantern Movie Jacket

I was asked to design this jacket inspired by Hal's costume from the Green Lantern movie.
This idea seemed totally daunting to me at first, mostly because the costume doesn't really exist! Oh CGI movies! How is an actor supposed to play a superhero without the costume??
Ryan Reynolds has nothing on you!
With some thought I came up with this jacket that I (and the wearer- who looks awesome!) enjoyed. As you can see there is a lot of detailed stitching on the jacket, which is stitched with glow in the dark thread for maximum awesomeness.
