Super Sox at Allentown Comic Con

Where is the time going?? Turkey day come and went and Xmas will be here and gone just as fast! What does that mean? It means it's time for you to order your very own Super Sox !
Last week I showcased at the Allentown Comic Con, and had a blast.

Peter "Chewbacca" Mayhew got in on the fun with his brand-new Chewsocca Super Sox!

Mr. Mayhew also found a new use for Super Sox- as Monster Sox Puppet. He has also hired me to knit him some actual wearing socks.

Some of my blog readers may recognize part of my Booster Gold costume on my dummy there, I brought it and set it up because it lights up and is fun.
I met a lot of fun people, and the Super Sox were well received!

I can't take credit for the incredible amount of awesomeness that is going on, just the Miranda jacket.

Super Sox Shop

Introducing.......Super Sox Shop!
Check it out- a new webstore full of fun things!

The site just went live so be the first to check it out- then tell everyone you know.
I'll be at New York Comic Con this Saturday dressed as Aurora letting people know about it.
So find me posing with the others in my Alpha Flight crew and get a pic and some promotional stuff!

These are fun, fancy Xmas Sox I made in the spirit of comic books, cartoons and everything else that is awesome!
The photos in this post is just a small taste of the whole collection that is on the site.
More items to be added.

?????? You can never have enough question marks????

Oh yea, these furry guys are called Monster Sox! They come in 8 different colorsI learned a thing or two working with this faux fur, but I love it so much. Now my cat has other hairballs to compete with.

We all know that superheroes have awesome costumes, but does their footwear get a lot of attention? Well it generally does from cosplayers, but here is my homage to greatness in superhero footwear.

Custom Drum Major Outfit

This week's post is a few days late, because I wanted the wearer to receive it before I posted it! That and holidays always throw off my schedule- so happy back to school for all you school-bound jokers- I will remain here in my studio (where I think should have a name) sewing up a storm!

I was contacted by a woman who lives where I used to (briefly) reside, in Virginia. Her daughter is a drum major entering her senior year of high school, and this was what they requested. The band is doing a bunch of Danny Elfman scores from Tim Burton movies, so I think this ensemble is very fitting.
